Which has the most games available: NintendoDS or SonyPSP?

Hi I'm wanting to get my son a portable game player for Xmas and I'm wondering which of the 2 - the Sony PSP or the Nintendo DS has the most games available. He loves things like Pokemon, Sonice, Mario Bros. and Rayman.....but on the PC he plays Star Wars and Unreal Tournament 2004 as well...so his game selection might get bigger over time. What do the peeps here at GameSpot think? Thanks for any help, StratMan23Which has the most games available: NintendoDS or SonyPSP?
considering his gaming profile get him a DS. I think it has more games and it's 30 dollars less expensive, so you can give him an extra game. Consider Pokemon Pearl/Diamond.
Nice taste for guitar, by the way, though I'm more of a telecaster fan =PWhich has the most games available: NintendoDS or SonyPSP?
If you're talking amount of game-wise, the Nintendo DS is DEFINATELY the way to go. If you're talking gameplay-wise, I also say the Nintendo DS. The Nintendo DS is definately a much more popular handheld at the moment, or so I've noticed after working in the Electronics department of a Target.
The PSP has more games released in North America then the Nintendo DS. However the Nintendo DS has more games released World-Wide then the PSP.As for the question every single game you listed but UT is on the DS and only 2 of them (Sonic Rivals, Star Wars) on the PSP. With Sonic being far worse then the DS versions too.
Both systems have tons of games so you dont have to worry about what system has the most. Look at the top games for DS and the top games of PSP, theres a big differance in the type of games each system offers overall. Thats what you should really be looking out for...I think the PSP is a better system, I dont play my DS anymore because of a lack of games targeted at people like me, but it sounds like, due to the games you mentioned, that a DS would be a better choice for your son.
